Tall Neoclassic Italian Green Onyx Neoclassic Table Lamp C.1950

A turned green onyx table lamp base of classical baluster form, the tapering stem rising from a bulbous urn-form body to a compressed socle, set on a stepped circular foot. The stone displays natural banded veining throughout, with a pronounced rust/ochre mineral inclusion at the base. Fitted with its original brass bayonet lamp bulb holder.
