A cohesive yet individually characterful set of three hand-polished solid malachite eggs from the Katanga province of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Each piece showcases a distinct expression of the mineral's natural patterning, making the group as visually engaging as a curated cabinet display.
The left egg presents flowing ribbon banding in mid-green with complex layered formations and areas of raw granular inclusion that attest to its geological authenticity.
The central egg is the standout of the three: an extraordinary radial fan or rosette formation dominates one face, a rare growth structure in which concentric arcs spread outward like petals from a single nucleus, set against a rich deep ground with pale celadon and visible dark veining.
The right egg offers the most graphic and controlled pattern of the group, with clean oval concentric bands in deep forest green and pale mint forming a composed, almost calligraphic composition. All three are brought to a consistent high-gloss polish across their entire surfaces.
