Art Deco Peach Glass Border Wall Mirror with Chrome Studs, British, C.1930
A handsome and thoroughly characteristic example of British Art Deco mirror design. The wide border is composed of peach-tinted mirror glass panels, each bevelled on their inner edge and decorated with a pair of parallel polished lines, a detail that adds architectural depth and rhythm to the frame. The panels are mitre-cut at the corners and secured throughout by chrome cross-head screw fixings set directly into the glass, a construction method synonymous with quality domestic mirror production in interwar Britain.
In notably good condition commensurate of age, light foxing and small 'fleabite' to inner corner (see photo).
