Substantial Antique English Queen Anne Gallery Wall Mirror C.1920

A generously scaled wall mirror in the Queen Anne taste, its shaped cushion-moulded frame rising to an arched, double-scrolled crest above a rectangular plate. The reeded and stepped moulding is worked in a rich, figured walnut veneer over a solid ground, retaining excellent colour and patina throughout.
At over a metre in height, this is a substantial, gallery-scale piece.

The reverse bears the trade label of G.H. Morton & Son Ltd, cabinet-makers of Bold Street, Liverpool, together with brass ring hangers to a plywood-panelled back.

In very good condition commensurate of age (please refer to photos).
